All of the 2019 student projects are finally up!

I set myself the goal of getting all the 2019 projects up on the website by the end of 2019.

I have succeeded!

In the most recent bunch that I added are all the prize winning projects of 2019.

You see, this year, the SA Mental Health Commission (SAMHC) got involved with the goal of progressing some of the student projects to the next level.

They awarded four prizes this year to Monster Me (winner), Mother in the Making (runner-up), No Shit! (third place) and Feeliens (special mention).

Monster Me and Mother in the Making are going to be developed further with the help of the SAMHC. We are going to try and crowd-fund the development of No Shit! and we haven’t quite worked out what to do with Feeliens yet. Congratulations to all the teams that worked on these projects.

I also want to give a quick shout-out to a project that I wasn’t involved with, but looks cool, which was Courtesy Japan. I think the design work is beautiful.

The Visualising Mental Health Team meets again in January to work out what VMH will look like for 2020.

We hope it is as amazing a year as 2019.

As we head into the new year, I wish all the staff and students that have made VMH a reality a happy new year and best wishes for 2020.

We’ll be back.
