Steps

In a small survey conducted in Australia, it was reported that 80% of students had experienced anxious thoughts about their future after graduation.
Fear and the uncertainty of the future olongside harmful self-expectations were found to be key determinant in this. University years also often coincide with the critical transition period (between the ages of 17 and 25 years) when mental illness is most likely to onset.
With our concept steps ‘Ne are creating an intervention rolled across graduating university cohorts, to reduce the anxieties that many experience with in this transitionary period.
Our design solution comes in the form of a Steps graduate pack tote bag- a curated collection of tools, resources and goodies designed to help recent design graduates navigate the professional world with confidence. All the items assist in one way or another to reduce student anxiety associated with the fear of the unknown and help build their confidence through exposures, practices and support. Our brand Steps partners with universi ties across Australia gifting graduate bags to a wide range of graduating students.
